Even though it was very foggy at first light at the obs, and it seemed as if there would be little visible migration based on the conditions, good numbers of Meadow Pipits were on the move; initially heading east, they started heading north once the fog cleared.
 
Offshore
4 Shelducks east, 3 Wigeon east, 17 Common Scoters east, 10 Red-breasted Mergansers, 11 Red-throated Divers east, 3 Gannets west, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 9 Kittiwakes east, 8 Little Gulls east, 12 Sandwich Terns and 2 Razorbills.

Visible Migration
2 Pink-footed Geese east & 25 north, 1 Little Ringed Plover east, 5 Whimbrels east, 66 Woodpigeons east, 2 Collared Doves east, 3 Magpie east, 2 Rooks west, 17 Sand Martins north, 36 Swallows north, 1 House Martin north, 1 Yellow Wagtail east, 38 Alba Wagtails north, 5 Tree Pipits north, 1,268 Meadow Pipits north, 4 Chaffinch east, 1 Brambling east, 31 Goldfinch east, 29 Siskins east, 21 Linnets east, 1 Redpoll east and 1 Reed Bunting east.

Grounded Migrants 
A Snipe, 19 Goldcrests, 5 Sand Martins, 1 House Martin, 12 Chiffchaffs, 6 Willow Warblers, a male Ring Ouzel, 37 Redwings, 2 Robins, 1 Redstart, 36 Wheatears, 2 White Wagtails and a Tree Sparrow.
