Southeasterly winds and pre-dawn rain showers dropped a nice selection of migrants around the Obs this morning. Also three smart juvenile Little Stints graced the high tide wader roost in the afternoon.

Offshore
2 Teal west, 28 Common Scoters west, 1 Gannet west and 4 Sandwich Terns west.

Visible Migration
136 Swallows south - PM.

Grounded Migrants 
3 Goldcrests, 2 Willow Warblers, 2 Blackcaps, 4 Whitethroats, 1  Spotted Flycatcher, 5 Robins, 1 Redstart, 2 Whinchats, 58 Wheatears, 1 Grey Wagtail and 1 Tree Pipit.

Others
1 Gadwall, 4 Shovelers, 5 Pochards, 4 Little Egrets, 238 Ringed Plovers, 425 Lapwings, 800 Knots, 225 Sanderlings, 300 Dunlins, 3 Little Stints, 1 Black-tailed Godwits, 1 Greenshank, 600 Redshanks, 106 Turnstones, 3 Med. Gulls, 1 Kingfisher and 30 Goldfinch.
