The highlight of the day was a group of seven Curlew Sandpipers, no surprise with the large numbers seen throughout the country this Autumn.

4 Shelducks east, 17 Common Scoters west, 4 Gannets west, 2 Sandwich Terns west and 1 Guillemot east.
Visible Migration
2 Snipe south, 3 Sand Martins south, 243
Swallows south, 17 Grey Wagtails south, 7 Alba Wagtails south, 1 Tree
Pipit south and 16 Meadow Pipits south.
Grounded Migrants
1 Willow Warbler, 3 Blackcaps, 2
Whitethroats, 1 Reed Warbler, 1 Robin and 4 Wheatears.
Others
2 Shovelers, 4 Pochards, 7 Little Egrets, 103 Ringed
Plovers, 475 Lapwings, 1000 Knots, 80 Sanderlings, 7 Curlew Sandpipers,
70 Dunlins, 8 Black-tailed Godwits, 440 Redshanks, 106 Turnstones
and 1 Med. Gull.
